About me
Orthopedic Surgeon
My name is Chiara Ursino, an orthopedic surgeon focus on in hip and knee joint replacement surgery.
I conduct my primary clinical and surgical work at the Joint Replacement and Orthopedic Surgery Unit (C.A.S.C.O.) of the IRCCS Galeazzi – Sant’Ambrogio Hospital in Milan.
I graduated with honors in Medicine and Surgery from Vita-Salute San Raffaele University in Milan in 2018 and completed my specialization with honors in Orthopedics and Traumatology at the University of Genoa.
I focus primarily on knee and hip conditions, addressing issues related to both sports activities and degenerative processes associated with joint wear.
My goal is to work with the patient to identify the treatment plan best suited to their needs. When appropriate, we also consider regenerative medicine treatments, including ultrasound-guided injections of hyaluronic acid, PRP (platelet-rich plasma), and treatments using adipose-derived mesenchymal cells.
When surgery is indicated, I perform joint replacement procedures using minimally invasive techniques and robotic assistance to ensure personalized planning and execution.
I regularly participate in national and international orthopedic conferences, presenting my research findings and staying up to date with the latest scientific developments. My aim is to offer patients a care pathway based on the most recent scientific evidence while remaining attentive to each individual's specific needs.
